Skida Baby Nordic Hat

A little bundle of joy in a light indoor/outdoor hat for babies, the Skida Baby Nordic Hat is, well, really, as cute as they come. Skida hats are made here in Vermont by home sewers up in the Northeast Kingdom, part of the revival of home textile manufacturing which suffered a crushing set back in 1984 when the Ladies Garment Workers Union made a misguided assault on home labor. It’s literally taken decades to revive the practice of home production, and we’re pleased to be part of the revival. Made of the same fabric as the adult hats, they’re bright, colorful, and0 yes, charming. Made in Vermont, unutterably adorable, and actually a tech fabric to keep the little noggin from overheating or getting damp, the baby Nordic is a toss in the wash piece of baby clothing which makes a great gift.
